Misdirected email: Interesting, or just plain sad?

Today an email came in from someone I’ve never met, addressed to my gmail account and one like this: XRush@XXXXcorp.com  <details omitted>.  I couldn’t help but read it.  You’re welcome to join me…

Dear XXXXXX <Woman’s first name>,
Finally a new year, this past one was great in many ways but shitty in many, lost great people in my life, starting with you, woot, XXXXX my good friend XXXXX, and soon my dear grandma, its been rough emotionally but the out side has kept me going as usual.
The reason for my email is to share a couple things with you, not mean not putting u down just need to tell you a couple important things so please read this whole email, I know how you like to skip thru long emails lol! (Its a joke not putting u down).
I have no excuses for what I have done to you, yes we both made many mistakes and hurt one another bad but I won’t blame your actions for mine I always had a choice just like you did, I just think that when u love someone so much like we did u hurt them (this goes for both of us) the love we had was like nothing we felt before and when we hurt each other it was that much worse we both have been hurt badly we were both put down and abused never shown true love I think that’s one thing that really pulled us together, u were my safe ground I knew in my heart that as long as you were there I would be ok, you truly were my best friend one like no other I’ve had.
This past couple of weeks I have been doing a lot of thinking and coming to peace with my self and with god, I was a wreck out of control and after what happened christmas eve and last night and well a few other nights my eyes were finally opened its like it all stopped, last night after everyone left something happened something very bad that could have changed the corse of things, but it didn’t I still don’t know how but it was an amazing feeling I swear its like I was reborn it all just hit me, that’s why I wanted to write you this, I am so grateful for the time you gave me, you truly are amazing difficult lol but once someone gets to know you its amazing, yea u say mean things when u get defensive and some times aggressive lol but its part of who you are, you really are a wonderful girl! I have no doubt that XXXX will get the best years of your life, I am so proud of how much you have changed in the past 3 years you are great! Its time I take that road also, I am going to start counseling this week, I am going to start seeing this girl I kinda like she seems great I just couldn’t move past you but I have to, I am ready to settle down, I am ready to have a family of my own, I wish with all my heart it could have been with you but we can’t control everything I guess, but I’m going to give XXXXX a real chance just really try this as hard as it may be because I miss you so much! I really do! I don’t think you’ll ever realize just how much I love you! I am literary crazy about you! But you have found from what you said a great guy so good luck XXXXXX as hard as it is for me to say this but I do wish you the best!
If you ever need me know ill always be here and no matter who I am with ill always love you and could never forget about you!
So best of luck hope you had a great new years night! Take good care of yourself and dub! Be safe! You are amazing!
Thanks again for all the wonderful memories,

Your friend

WhatTheHeck?  Why would this guy copy me on this message?  Was he trolling (guessing?) at her email?  Anyway.  Very strange.    Let me know what you think in the comments.

Pheww. Thank goodness for the spattering of commas he threw in there. Otherwise, that would have been one TEDIOUS email.

I thought, especially after Stanford, that Tiger Woods would have better writing skills.
