Katie and Drew Become Texans

img_0980.JPGWhen Marc and I moved to Newport in 2001 one of the first people we met was Katie A. Later we shared an apartment, some adventures, and lots and lots of laughs.  This summer Katie told us that she and Drew are taking their scene down to Texas to become boutique boat builders.  If you’ve ever met Katie, you know what a bummer this is for her New England friends.

    I miss Katie Ambacher. On a scale of 1-10, Texas just moved up from a 1 to a 3 1/2. You’re awesome Katie.
