'Twas the day before Christmas
Rush was out with his spouse

only the Roomba was scooting,
cleaning up the whole house...

The stockings were hung,
by their magnets with with care

in hopes that someday
there'd be a fireplace there

The chairs were all pushed to the corner of the room
while about the whole house, a robot vacuum zoomed.

Sarah with her water and Rush with his Sprite
Were in Harvard Square, grabbing a bite

Back in the condo, a lamp fell and did shatter
towed to the floor by a robot without any gray matter

Caught up by the cord and full of shame
The blind little robot wandered sans aim

And what did Sarah and Rush find when home from the square?
But a cowering red Roomba, hiding under the chair

With the lamp's cord trailing out of its ass
next to pieces of broken bulb glass

Rush and Sarah laughingly did muster
tidying the mess with their little dust buster

A holiday warning to the Roomba dependent
don't leave your robot elves running at home unattended!

Merry Christmas!
