Off the Road
Betty Rover probably thought she had her much-deserved retirement in California. Dad had it re-painted, lights repaired, seats re-upholstered and some rust removed while I was offshore. Unfortunately (for the car) I came back. And had the car shipped back to New England. |

During one of the annual "Winter Romp" excursions at Bruce's house, I met Peter Vollers - a Woodstock, VT Rover fanatic who encouraged me to make a couple of upgrades... |

Peter is also a great off-road host, leading a winter overnight where the temps fell to -17°F... This deserves repeating: -17°F |
...and my rear axle fell to pieces.
