Rusharound

Inspired by Ann’s recent post, we thought we would share some pictures of Hambletiny’s room to tide you over while you await pictures of the actual baby.
We are not professionals like Ann, and we hope to move in the next year or less, so the walls are still white and our organizational skills could probably use some assistance…But we hope Hambletiny will find it a cozy space to spend his first few months (if he ever decides to evacuate the womb!)

We already had a great chair and bookshelf from Ikea. We moved all of our books out and bought some storage baskets for baby clothes and toys.

The next two pieces of crucial furniture arrived thanks to the generosity of Hambletiny’s grandparents. Thanks to GeeCee and Poppy for the adorable crib, and to Grammy and Grampy for the changing table!

Finally, we covered the ceiling with some fabric (long story as to why this was necessary) and found the perfect rug from Land of Nod.

All we need now is the baby! He’s only one day late, but we’ve been ready to meet him for a while.
